San Francisco’s finest musicians and street
performers appear daily at the Anchorage. The
performances are free of charge, however tips are appreciated.
The center hosts
several special events during the year. Enjoy Fisherman’s Wharf as you’ve never
seen before on the "4th of July or
Fleet Week in October. Live music adds to the excitement in the air and food and

R A N S P O R T A T I O N |
By Cable Car: The Powell and Hyde cable car brings you
from downtown, through Union Square, over Nob Hill, to within a short block of The
Anchorage.
The "F Line" will drop you off at our front
door, on Jones Street, in a vintage streetcar.
By Bus: Four bus lines also pass within a block of The Anchorage, the
#42 Sansome, the #19 Polk, the #30 Stockton, and the #32 Embarcadero.
By Car: The Anchorage is located at 2800
Leavenworth Street between Beach and Jefferson Streets, "At the heart of San
Francisco’s Fisherman’s Wharf", and with validated parking available in our
garage at 500 Beach Street. |
