If arriving by bus, please help keep Fisherman’s Wharf clean and safe by parking or stopping only in designated bus parking areas. Do not leave buses running idle. Buses may only load and/or unload passengers at designated areas of hotels, restaurants, and other attractions.
Short-Term Motorcoach Parking in the Fisherman’s Wharf Area
Twenty-minute tour bus parking is permitted near Fisherman’s Wharf on: The west side of Mason Street south of Beach Street. The east and west sides of Hyde Street between Jefferson and Beach Street. The east side of Columbus Avenue north of North Point Street. The north side of Bay Street between Taylor and Jones Streets except between 4-6pm, Monday – Friday. Oversized/Overnight/Short Term Parking – Non Self-Serve
AT&T Park motorcoach parking is located on the west side of Terry Francois Boulevard (formerly China Basin Street) opposite Piers 48/50, alongside AT&T Park Parking Lot A. There are no on-site machines; parking for this lot must be paid at Impark’s office or via phone with a credit card. The rates are $35 a day on non-event days. The rate for parking that coincides with any event at AT&T Park is $50 a day. No reservations are offered; parking is first-come, first-served. For more information, call Impark at 415.227.0114 ext. 21 during business hours, 8am-5pm, Monday – Friday.
Motorcoach Servicing
Coach America San Francisco/Pacific Coast Bus Service allows motorcoach access to their servicing stations. Open 24-hours daily. Coach America’s facilities offer full maintenance service. Payment: cash or credit cards (MC, V, AE) at time of service. Please call in advance to make an appointment for a visit: 415.642.9400, ext. 143 or 415.401.1876. Located at 300 Toland Street in San Francisco.
Restrictions
Idling: The city restricts motorcoach idling to no more than 5 minutes, unless actively loading and unloading passengers. Infractions are subject to a $100 fine. For updated information, please call 311 on your mobile phone.

Summary of The Metered Tour Bus Spaces
- Four-hour time limits.
- Reserved for tour buses only between 7:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. (violators can be reported by calling Central Station at 415-553-0123).
- The spots are approximately 60 feet long.
- The rate is $5 per hour.
- New parking meters that allow payment by coin, SFMTA Parking Cards or with a credit/debit card.
- SFMTA Parking Cards can be purchased at numerous locations, including the nearby Walgreens on Jones and Jefferson streets. These spaces are open to general parking after 7 p.m.

Sidewalks on Jefferson Street between Jones and Hyde Streets have been widened to create an improved pedestrian, bicycle and visitor experience by narrowing the roadway. Motor Coaches are prohibited from going east bound on the entirety of Jefferson Street. All motor vehicles are discouraged on westbound Jefferson Street between Powell and Hyde Streets, which has been converted to two-way traffic. Motor coaches please use Beach, North Point or Bay Streets instead of Jefferson Street.
