Happy 4th of July!
We invite you to come down to the Waterfront to enjoy the day! A fireworks display will be launched from two barges on the Bay beginning at 9:30 pm. Our neighborhood restaurants, activities, and retail shops in Fisherman's Wharf WILL be open. Please note: Dress appropriately for the weather, which can get cold and windy. A good jacket/blanket can help keep you warm.
To make your day more enjoyable, we suggest that you leave your pets at home. We don't want our furry friends to get spooked by the large crowds and noise of the fireworks display. There will also be K-9 units in the neighborhood.
Getting to Fisherman's Wharf
City of San Francisco parking lots are available throughout the Fisherman’s Wharf area. The closest indoor lots are the Anchorage Square Parking Garage (Jones & Beach), or the Pier 39 Parking Garage (Stockton & Beach). Special event rates may apply.
Traffic in and around Fisherman's Wharf is expected to be heavy. We highly recommend taking public transportation. If you do choose to drive, SFPD reminds you to Park Smart! If you love it, don't leave it. Take all valuables with you. Don't tempt a car thief by leaving cell phones, sunglasses, luggage, passports, or other items in your car.
